Did you know that the flight tickets are the cheapest exactly 47 days before the departure date? (for domestic flights). If you miss that 47th day just try to book it on a Tuesday at 3 p.m. eastern time (USA), that would make it cheaper too.
About international flights most of the Airlines will open up for sale 335 days before departure date (B.D.), the prices then will be quite low until about 90 days before departure when they will start to increase more and more but depending on the destination.
Some research found out that the best time to purchase a flight ticket for these destination would be:

- Asia 318 B.D.
This list is for your advice only, I sincerly don't think a lot of people can really make use of it.
Since not many people can book a flight so early and being sure to have garanteed days off almost one year later that day. So what I do is just trying to book flight during the week avoiding fridays and sundays, those are the worst days to fly. If you want to fly cheap you have to take those flight nobody wants and with that I mean:
- super early mornings/late nights ones
- during the week days (Wednesday and Thurdsay should be the cheapest days to fly)
- connecting flights (I don't like them at all)
- low cost airlines (check on their websites the conditions of carry on baggage and max weight of the suitcase, since this is how they 'mostly' make their money)
Wish you a nice and safe flight.
On my next post I'll write about some 'at the airport' and 'in the hotel' tipps and hacks to make your journey and stay more easy and carefree.
